as much as i do not care for garrett he was dealt a bad hand from the start. jones will out of the nfl or a career backup in another couple of years or sooner. jones is awful. also missing barkley for almost two seasons and an average o-line is a recipe for disaster.

Romo is also complicit in this. Everyone got too comfortable and friendly. I think if Romo went to Jerry and demanded better, we're having a different conversation right now.

Giants still have a lot of issues and had them before Garrett got there. Someone had to fall and it was Garrett, just as OC and DC lost their jobs when Garrett was the head coach. However I recall that as scape goating when it happened here. I would think the same holds true in NY.

It took the Giants season and a half (or close to it) to conduct this but took Jones so long to do it.

Anyway, I was glad the Giants hired him because I knew Jason’s coaching would hurt the Giants offense but now since they terminated him the organization has a chance of improving on offense in which I hate it.

What a joke! For years it was obvious Garrett was mediocre at best. We take 91/2 years to get rid of him and the Giants do it in less than 2 years.

I'm not saying they should not have fired him, I'm saying the problems were there before Garrett got to NY. Do you think firing Garrett will now cure all ills of the Giants or is the problems much deeper in NY?
