Jason Garrett is the downfall of Dallas

I said this after his draw play in the playoffs during a 1 minute drill with limited time. Everybody said i was crazy but if you watch the last possesion of that game youll see why this team sucks. Its not jerry, TO or the defense. I was praying that clown went to the ravens. I challenge everybody to watch the Giant game and tell me why the Cowboys really choke. It comes down to 2 people

This is a completely original school of thought and absolutely deserved a new thread.

He doesn't have the confidence of his GM, his head coach, his quarterback, or his receivers. He's the real cancer on the offense.

You just can not trust a redhead with freckles. Laugh if you want but they are evil and will be the doom of us all.

We will rue the day we signed the freckles.

I just specifically want people to watch that last possesion. The playcalls say alot! A draw play? Cmon now.

I'm not Garrett lover, in fact I lost a lot of respect for him in his attempt to jump ship following the season, but there is plenty of blame to go around.

I'm not sure I get people's love for him either, his resume isn't all that great and he inherited a team that had set offensive franchise records the year before he showed up, had another good year and then promptly rode the offense into the ground so the response is to promote him to head coach?

Either way, it's been discussed to death though, we all just keep saying the same things over and over.

Yeah Crayton missing on that wide open fade route, cause he stopped, had nothing, at all, to do with that loss. Shame on Garrett for calling that play and not knowing, before hand, that his starting WR would simply pull up for some unexplainable reason.

Lol. ok. Did Big Ben rely on his worst reciever on the field or his best with the super bowl on the line? That brings me to the other choker but Garrett is way more of an issue than Tony.

So what you are saying is that you have never heard of check downs. Okay.

He wanted Romo to force it to his hero.

Then if it had been intercepted he would blame Romo for throwing it to T.O. when he had no chance.

I thought holmes caught the winning touchdown and not Ward.

It was a 7 route, and Crayton didn't 'pull up for some explainable reason,' but, whatever.

Ward is better than Holmes? Oh god. And what are you talking about checkdowns for? Im talking about the pass to Crayton and the pass to Glenn. I guess they were both covered. Right. Owens and Witten get the big bucks. Not Crayton and Glenn. I dont dislike Romo, just dissapointed. You guys can really defend TO and Witten not getting the ball thrown to them at the end?

You keep saying this, but Jones is paying him a heck of a lot of money for an OC, Wade's fired each of his other team coaches, but retained Garrett. I'd have to review Tony's comments after the Philly game b/c I have to admit I wasn't in the state of mind to listen to it live at the time, but I haven't heard Tony say anything particularly damning. The WRs not named Austin or Hurd I'll give you.

There's no reason to believe that if Garrett were a cancer he'd still have a job. Or that he'd even have been in line for a promotion again this offseason.

I agree. The relevance of the Giants playoff game was a nice addition to the discussion as well.

I knew I woudl have to explain it when I asked it.

Patrick Crayton was not the 1st option on that play.

The QB is RIGHT not to throw it to Owens or Witten if they are covered.

It really isn't that difficult to grasp.

Truth hurts. That game was Garretts chance to shine. He called a pathetic game. What other big game should he be judged on? 44-6?

I disagree. I'll instead give the Giants credit for having a great run when it counted most, recognizing our top 2 WRs were hobbled, putting them in man coverage and bringing the blitz because they knew they could.

There was nothing wrong with the game plan.
