Every season, millions of goober Dallas fans have visions of success, in their minds. Now, I didn't say a Superbowl or even a NFC Conference visit, I said success. For a decade, the blame was former coach Garrett who was a notorious clapper and getting this team to the Mendoza level of .500.
No worry of that anymore. No Garrett and can't get to .500 anymore with 17 games. Either one over/under that line.
Now, I know unless you spit out all great vibes for the Cowboys, you are dripped on with bologna. Dak is back. Super, but this defense is still bad. Sorry and others know it also......

all you have done is give your opinion. We really do not know what the defense will do or what Quinn can get from this unit. As for SB I don't even think about SB heading into week 1 of a season and that has been the way I see it since I 1st started watching the Cowboys. I do expect them to win their division and the go from there seeing how we are playing and the road ahead of them. Look any fan who choose to do the doom and gloom routine your welcome to it. That is how you feel and who you are

lol It took Garrett 10 years and the D sucked. This coach gets 1. They drafted 12 defenders in 2 seasons and some still compare it to the absolute garbage before or expect immediate results! You will see a night and day difference from the Garrett Marinelli clown show!

Again, I ask- if you genuinely think they are going to suck then what's the point of continuing to follow them? Why don't you back up your talk and stop watching games and getting on this forum until Jerry goes the way of Old Yeller? You like rubbing your negativity in everyone's faces? What possible joy do you derive from being like...this? You seem to miss the point of being an excited, optimistic fan who wants your team to win over a delusional fan that says "The Cowboys will win the Super Bowl" before a snap has been played. (Though I'll certainly take the delusional optimist over the negative crybaby any day.) We are aware of the issues the team has but there have been plenty of teams with less talent than this roster that got hot at the right time, got lucky with injuries, and went on a run. This team certainly has the offense to win a championship if things go well, and possibly a defense too. So there's nothing wrong with hoping that will happen and speaking positively about it while still calling out the dumb mistakes/bad decisions along the way. That's far different than the ridiculously over the top negative takes of "DUR, they will never win as long as Jerry is the GM" and whatever that Jason Garrett word salad take you just spewed is.

As long as they can put on their CD Lamb/Dak jerseys that makes them "feel good" as they watch the team lose, they are still content. It's the society we live in today. Realist Dallas fans remember Jimmy Johnson/Tom Landry not putting up with crappy play. They would cut players for it. Sadly, fans put up with crappy play and they should be cut.
Jimmy Johnson was famous yelling @ Micheal Irvin, don't be flashy be good. Dallas fans want flash, not wins. Dallas fans want the jerseys to win but settle for the 21st Century style of success it has produced. MENDOZA FOOTBALL.

Frankly I don't care if you pull for the Cowboys or not and really see no point of the thread of other than your own personal negative view. You talk realistic fans whose reality yours? I have been a fan since 65 so save the BS. You seem to think you know fans want? You are clueless. Many fans are just that die hard fans to back and support their team in good times and bad, I doubt there is a person here who does not want Dallas to win a SB only difference is some do not get their kicks crapping on the team at every turn. Maybe you need to look up the definition of fan. I control nothing but I will always support the team win, lose or draw that is kind of what fans do. You are no more than a spectator
