On The Fan, Jason Garrett says the #Giants individual players did a good job blocking #Cowboys players on Dwayne Harris' kickoff TD.
Darren McFadden took advantage of his opportunities yesterday, and the team ran the ball the best in 2015.
the most important thing a leader can display is passion and energy.
he's okay with the passion Greg Hardy displayed.

Garrett: "3 interceptions and a fumbled punt," part of the #Cowboys issues vs @Giants.
"McFadden is deserving of more opportunities going forward"

Jason Garrett w/ @1053TheFan on Greg Hardy, "That was a situation that often times happens ... It wasn't exactly the right time and place"

Looked to me like one of the special teams guys decided to hide behind some of those blockers to avoid a head on collision with Harris. Either that, or he made an incredibly odd decision to cut into the blockers when Harris was going the opposite direction. A terrible play regardless of the reason.

Garrett's having to convey a lot of common sense to Mr. Hardy the past two weeks.

Really not all that interested in his canned responses and platitudes at the moment.

Those were canned responses? Or were they the best communication delivered to a media looking for a soundbite to stir up a story which IMO is non-existent.

No one knows what is said behind closed doors but we've gotten some hints from the players Garrett is a completely different guy in the locker room.

I have no problem with it.

The media is chomping at the bit to make the Hardy situation into a massive distraction.

Address it, don't make a big deal with it and it goes away quicker.

Sure beats the Parcells method of not quite addressing it, stirring up the pot and waxing poetically about it. Or the Wade method of acting clueless about it and letting the media stir it into something it's not.

Fans complain about it when we lose, but I have always loved the way Garrett handles the Dallas media. Much rather give them nothing with a soundbite than let them control the narrative or paint him the way they painted Wade, who tried to be forthcoming with them and had members of the press publicly saying they could probably out coach him for his effort.

This is circle-the-wagons week in Dallas, but you can't tell it from the press conferences.

I think that was Wilber. If he would have stayed in his lane, yes he would have tackled hiom, or slowed him up for someone else to tackle him.
And Wilber is supposed to be one of the better ST's player. That and injuries to LB's kept him on the team. I was hoping he would be replaced in the off season, but for reasons just mentioned, he was not. I don't dislike him, just thought we could do better.
Maybe next year.

It ABSOLUTELY was Wilber..................I can't even comprehend what he was thinking right there. Its not like Harris was even behind the other Giants player. The angle they showed the replay from showed Wilber SHOULD'VE seen Harris.

That was Danny McCray. He was responsible for the hole that Harris ran through. I have no idea why he bounced to his left, which allowed the blocker to keep him from coming back to the hole. He should have held that gap because the left side already was clogged. Instead, all the coverage team from the middle of the field over was in that clog and the coverage team on the right was put into a chase position.

I'm pretty sure that McCray was the one I saw. I'll have to go back and see what Wilber did, but McCray was in the middle of the field and then inexplicably decided to shuffle to his left. All he had to do was maintain gap integrity, but instead he appeared to be guessing that Harris was going to go left around the blocker and set himself up perfectly to be blocked out of the play.
