Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett received a prestigious award from Princeton University on Thursday.
The former Tigers great was the recipient of the Class of 1967 PVC Citizen-Athlete Award, an award presented by the Princeton Class of 1967 for noble and selfless contributions to society and sport.

It's pretty obvious that Garrett is worthy of this award. The head coach is very active in the community, recently participating in the Reliant Energy Home Run Derby where he was part of the $50,000 raised for charity.
Garrett also takes great pride in the football players he coaches. He's all about the "right kind of guy" and the award reflects that. Even though the team brought in a few players with character flaws this offseason, it's clear that Coach Garrett is someone who has the ability to lead them in the right direction. Just see how Dez Bryant has matured over the years — Garrett has big role in his life.

But, did Chip Kelly play football? Everyone thinks he's a better coach! lol

I'm not going to take anything away from what Chip has done as a HC, I think those who think Garrett lacks an understanding of the game are way off. When HC coaches like Saban have talked highly of him some will claim "What is he suppose to say" yet Saban hired him.
