Some stats about Zeke from the David Moore segment.
Someone created a thread about Zeke's slow starts.
He said, and I can't remember the exact stats, but he said his 1st 2 games in each of his 3 seasons, he averaged 3.7 YPC and 65 YPG, but after that, it was 4.8 YPC and 107 YPG.

So, if they limit his carries, then maybe that won't be as bad.

Garrett is wasting all these players' talents, its a serious problem .

I hope Pollard does well in protecting Dak, if and when the Giants blitz.

There's no need to be concerned about Zeke at all in that respect!

I have seen Zeke miss big blocks plenty of times.

Ok, lets put aside the blame game for a minute.

But is there ANYTHING with the offense or the team specifically that you can credit Garrett for doing, creating, inventing, maximizing, or otherwise? Without reaching or making it up?

Apart from saying that he gets the guys to play hard for him?

Garret has had several SB caliber rosters over the years and he never cashed in.

It's a sure thing that Pollard will be tested today and so will Zeke. Nobody is likely to get 100% of the blocks.

Let's see which of them comes the closest to doing so, even though perfection is never going to be attained.

There should be a reason why Ezekiel Elliott is generally regarded as the best RB around to own that honor.

You have to dig deeper than simply conceding that Zeke is a "slow starter". In those 6 games, the Cowboys were facing the NYG(with Snacks Harrison clogging the middle). Denver's filthy D on the road and Carolina on the road.

I believe the opponents we faced had more to do with slowing Zeke than anything else. Basically Zeke will be fine today. Expect 80-90 yards.
