Jason Garrett will remain Giants’ play-caller for now

They just won. All is well in G Land until the next Daniel Jones fumble / loss .
 
If the G nation has any success in the near future JG will get a HC offer and that’s the way it is.

Lol we shall see. If they tank win 5 games the whole room may go . Judge Joe won 6 games last yr he’s got to match that I would think . I think Garrett is more respected around the NFL then you might think .

And I think he’s far less respected than you think. If the Giants hadn’t hired him, he’d be out of the NFL. And given his lousy track record there, New York will soon correct their mistake.

That’s your line. And the “bottom” refers to where Garrett’s offenses rank. Along with the word “garbage” which aptly describes the level of his coaching.
 
85-67 record plus seasons that saw 10 12 and 13 win seasons with multiple East divisions . Hardly “ garbage “.

And a decade of wasted time, wasted money, and wasted careers. For a ‘head coach’ to attempt to learn on the job. A job he never earned, never deserved, and never should have had.

I got your point a mile back the road . Let’s see what happens. 85-67 hardly qualifies “ as garbage “ .
 
15-3 record last three yrs against the East 38-20 overall against the East three division titles and went 5-3 in the yr he took over for Uncle Wade Phillips who was truly a bad HC. Yes based on how Garrett regrouped that team taking over for Phillips he EARNED his promotion. Now let’s see how things play out and if he gets another shot .

Based on what guys like Nagy in Chicago possibly Detroit Jacksonville are trending the league has teams with issues no questions. Look at Cincinnati for example. They took off had a great start now lost to the lousy Jets and Cleveland clobbered them . You never know what happens.

With the player talent this team had? I’d say that it does. The team won DESPITE Garrett, not because of him. No coach we’ve had did so little with so much.
