You know, I had been disappointed in JG these past 2 weeks, but before then I had been a big supporter of him becoming the next HC. I have been telling folks that we will not see the best of these Cowboys until Wade and his staff are gone, especially Wade.
I still feel the same about Wade, I am afraid that we will continue to win, and Jerry will give him an extension or something. I say do not be fooled, Wade is and will only be a great DC, he is not a HC. We need to get rid of Wade Wilson, (the QB coach) I see a lot of his play in Romo. Wade wilson, Dave Krieg, and the QB that finally got the Radiers to the SB in 2000, were 3 of the most hot and cold QBs in the NFL at one time. When they were hot the would be on fire, but when they were cold they were freezing, throwing passes to the other team all day long.

Anyway back to why I started this post, Jason Garrett, I believe will be the next HC of the Cowboys and I believe that he will make a better HC than he has as an OC. It is not because we won yesterday, because I still do not like his play calling or his personnel grouping and the use of the talent we have.
It seems tome he is overwhelmed with all the talent we have and he just does not know how to use them all, or he is just finding it hard to get them all in the game and getting them the ball.

But he has that IT, that look and the way he conducts himself, I always think of Tom Landry everytime I see him in an interview or just watching him on the sideline.

Everyone knows how a coach can be a good coordinator but not a good HC, so it can be the other way around as well.

It could be that I just want a young fiery coach that will have the drive and determination to put in the time to get us back to the top, and not some old recycled coach.

Just my opinion

When I hear/see him in an interview, I think he comes off as a boring, somewhat smug accountant who doesn't have the time of day for you...

namdi paid him a nice compliment.

If Davis is looking for another coach in January, Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett can expect a call.

"They knew how to get certain guys open," cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha said. "They knew how to ... I don't want to say exploit us, but they knew what to do. In a short week, when you're studying a man team, it's not going to be very complicated.''

Asked how his offense generated so many big plays, Cowboys coach Wade Phillips was to the point.

"A lot of man-to-man,'' Phillips said. "You play a lot of man-to-man, you've got to be able to cover those guys and they blitz some and we picked it up. You can't cover our guys for a long time man-to-man and you can see that."
