Jason Garrett

No, Garrett wasn't terrible. The problem is, he wasn't great either. He was not an HC to take us over the top and get to where we want to be (the cowboys way is getting to a Super Bowl and winning, something we have forgotten)

I still say Jerry is the bigger problem here than Mike McCarthy. McCarthy is working with a lot of scrubs right now.

Ugh. I never put anybody on ignore before but this might be the post to do it.

But what about the season as a whole to date, not just last night?
They don't have good players.

I don't particularly like Nolan's scheme, but I don't really think coaching has been the problem.

I mean hey don't shoot the messenger but...was he actually that bad after all (and I can't believe that I just wrote that)?

Jason Garrett had a decade to prove himself capable of coaching a championship team.

All he could produce was a mediocre one. Should a team with a capable GM do better?

We could say whatever we wish about Will McClay but he isn't fully granted GM powers.

The gap appears to narrow with each passing game there is ZERO doubt.

And I'm not a Ginger groupie!! Lol :)

How is he doing just having to coach the Giants offense? Where does his offense rank?

There's the answer to your question.

True but New York does not have much in terms of weapons and the best 1 he had is now out for the season. Regardless Garrett is not here and the Cowboys are no longer his concern. The big concern if the current coaches getting this turned around.

My God. He coached through the prime of this line and yes he was that bad. Meanwhile 6 games with no offseason and a surge of injuries we’ve never seen before in a very odd season and some still pining for mr 8-8. He sucked.
