If the guy keeps playing like he played against the Vikings we are going to be forgetting about Stephen Bowen before too long. He was shedding tackles to take down ball carriers and constantly getting push in the pocket and forcing scrambles.

Him and Butler were making plays in the second half.

Two of my favorite young players.

He just needs to stay healthy.

I'd rather have him start over Coleman IMO. He brings more pass rushing.

I'd rather Coleman and Hatcher both start to tell the truth.

I'd be well content with a strong rotation up front...

I didn't notice Hatcher doing much in the first half as far as stopping the run. However, that goes for the whole defense.

He is playing some good football right now. I hope he stays healthy because we are going to need him big time this year.

If he keeps showing up like he did tonight, you may get your wish. The thing with Hatcher, is just when he starts showing something...I won't say it, I'll just knock on wood.

He's played EXTREMELY well in preseason. Good for him, it's about time.

I think we will rotate the DL a lot to keep them fresh. Much like we did in the 1990's under Jimmy. That means Ratliff, Hatcher, Brent, Spears, Coleman, and even Igor all could play and spell each other at times.

He's generally played well when healthy. That's the IF on him.

That was an impressive overall game...I thought he was solid but re-watching it, he was GREAT. I didn't even realize that the Sensabaugh INT was off Hatcher's deflection, dropping back into coverage.

True, moreso on passing down. This season it looks like he has better run recognition.

Why did they ever stop doing this? Seems like a no-brainer unless the personnel drop-off is just too great (which may be the answer to my question)
