The big question in the off-season will be to keep or cut Tyron Smith.

Tyron can play RT until Steele returns if Tyron can stay healthy.

If they don't think that Tyron can stay healthy, then they need another option.

Maybe Waletzko is an option but unfortunately they won't know that until training camp.

They'll probably draft and OT but I doubt if it's in the 1st round.

Tyron is such a wild card. His deal is a steal when he is playing. But can we trust him to stay healthy?

If they don’t need the cap space he is almost worth keeping as a high quality swing tackle. IF he is healthy.

Prior to the Steele injury, I was convinced that they could cut Tyron in March. Now that seems much less likely.

I expect Peters to move to RT, I don't think making several changes on the OL this time of year is a good ideal

With 3 TC's under his belt now is Alarcon so bad he gets no consideration at RT?

...I hope cowboy intelligence group. Is actively looking elsewhere for resources.

Peters and Ball will fit the bill for now. Come playoffs, you need good depth.

Besides Peters was Ace in the pocket for certain situations. Now they will push the envelope.

This is exactly why you draft 3-4 OL every year.

Based on what? He played Left in High School, College and the NFL.

Tyron played only RT in college. He also played RT his rookie season in the NFL...
One is an All pro LT... the other has shown to play LT (hardest position) without training camp reps... had you ask me which tackle position to be without for 10 games I would have chosen RT at the season start...

The o-line shuffle is disconcerting, for sure. However, I'm still more troubled by the lack of sacks on defense. Trench warfare is where this season will be won or lost. I have to acknowledge the great stop by Gallimore and Barr at the 2-yard line to give the ball back to the Cowboys. That is where this game turned positive for the home team. That's when that winning 98-yard drive by Dak and company happened. Moments like that show us the medal this team is made of... even if the team put themselves in that hole in the first place, they got themselves out! ;)

He's athletic enough to play every position on the line. Tyron is worn down and coming off another injury. Peters is a little out of shape and old. Let those two rotate at the LT position.
