Jason Taylor injured and helped off field... Washington vs Carolina Game thread

Jonathan Stewart will be a fine addition for the Panthers.

Carolina could have one heck of a running game this year. Stewart and DeAngelo ripped Wash. :laugh2:

Wow. How about that fumble by Foster and the pickup by Steve Smith for the TD? Who are the Panthers playing? Some street ball pickups?

I also just saw the replay of Peppers owning Samuels all the way back into J. Campbell. :lmao2:

Bad night at the office!!If you believe the Commanders are a bad football team because of this game, then i hope every team we play feel that way. They will be in for rude awakening!!:D

I'm sure there will not be many teams underestimating the fourth place team in the NFC East this season.

Couple of things to note:

The Skins OL looked completely overmatched all night. They appeared to be a step slow. Very lethargic.

It seemed their DL tried to play a more "straight up" style. I really didn't see them blitz constantly like they did last year. They're going to have to. They generate zero pressure with their front four. They cannot stop the run without blitzing either.

Taylor's injury looked bad, but I've seen those type of injuries before turn out to be ok. His knee bent backward (isn't that called hyperextended?). Those don't seem to be as serious. The type Osi had, where his knee buckled to the side, or when someone rolls up the side....those are almost always serious.

Their punter was awesome. That's about the best thing I can say about them.

Exactly. Seriously, they are the most delusional fanbase in the entire NFL.

I don't think the skins are a bad football team because of the Panther game. I think they suck because Campbell is too indecisive and inaccurate for the WCO. The offensive line is old and looking decrepit. The receivers suck. Zorn doesn't know what he's doing. The defensive line is ineffective. The linebackers can't blitz. Springs is old and slow Smoot just sucks, and Reed can't tackle.

I think the rude awakening happened last night.

:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

What a shame! And they call the Commanders a "footall team"?

QCambell looks like a lost kid out there...he winds up like a damn pitcher in baseball and then cannot hit anything. And Zorn says this game is "game planned"? By who? Snyder?

:lmao2: This team is a pathetic mess...and they deserve it!

I bet "cowboyrock" is still in shock!!!

:laugh2:

Am I right that I read that Taylor is reported to only be out 10-14 days with this injury? Apparently it wasn't quite as serious as they once feared and obviously not nearly the issue that the Giants are now having.

Correction. The worst moment in Washington's history was when it was created. Just my two cents.

Naaa, any real redsucks knows the worst moment in franchise history is when the Dallas Cowboys were created:p:

True, but there were other examples well-before 1960 rolled around. For example, the Commanders were beaten 73-0 by the Bears in the 1940 NFL Championshp game. How embarrassing. :(

Hey, the Panthers just scored AGAIN... but it took them 12 plays this time...

Of course, that's because the Commanders' defense is back at Commanders Park, licking its wounds...
