There's so much Cowboys stuff going on that this thread needed to be moved this fast?

Yeah weak. I thought it was a good opportunity to laugh at the Commanders expense.

Apparently this is less Cowboys-related than Travis LaBoy missing some time.

I guess Taylor obviously figured out that playing with the Commanders isn't worth $8M a year. :lmao2:

I wonder what old and decrepit defensive free agent the Commanders will over pay for to replace him this coming season. :muttley:

Since things are pretty quiet, I thought I'd post this for those interested.

Dolphins | Sign J. Taylor

ESPNews reports free-agent DL Jason Taylor (Commanders) has agreed to a one-year, $1.1 million deal with the Miami Dolphins.

===============

Not sure if J Taylor has much left in the tank, but for $1.1mm, it's not an expensive proposition for the Dolphins.

I really thought several weeks ago that Taylor would have ended up in New England for one last run . . . .

In terms of the Cowboys and FA, I don't really see us picking up anyone unless there are injuries.

I wouldn't mind a veteran CB, but with drafting 3 rookie DBs plus Hodge, I don't see us going that direction.

As for the DL, I think we're going with what we have.

Maybe we bring in a veteran WR if things are working out in TC, but I think the staff wants to see what they have in Austin and Hurd.

Forget him!
(do we get our 6th round pick back for next year?)

You guys paid a 2nd rounder for him, correct?

The Dolphins got a good deal with Taylor. Trade him away for a year for a 2nd and get him back the next year at a cheaper price.

And I thought he burned his bridges with B Parcells, Sparano, etc. a year ago.

The Commanders paid a 2nd rounder to rent Jason Taylor for one injury-plagued season.

Classic. :laugh2:

That's one of the few positives about current Cowboys management: at least they aren't the Commanders.

Me too but I guess not, JT must have seen that Miami isn't so bad after being in WAS.

Plus, he must have a lot of business interests in Miami.

Does anyone know who MIA took with the Commanders pick? Was it Pat White?
