If he could get YAC he could really be great one day..... lol
The man is a true throwback football player and it has been a privilege watching him throughout his career.
It's pretty mind boggling when you think about how many benefits we've gotten from one draft pick and for so long a period of time. I can't imagine how a tight end can manage to have such a knack for getting open on a regular basis as Witten does and yet be so slow. It's magical.
true but what amazes me is in 14 years he has missed 1 game. He has had his share of injuries yet he is out there day in day out. According to teammates he brings it every day at practice and again on game day. He has never been a glory hound looking for praise he goes out and just does the job and lets things take care of themselves.

Ever since some piece-of-excrement mediot said all Witten could do was catch the ball and fall down I've paid attention to Witten's YAC,,, there's nothing wrong with his YAC.
But I was assured by numerous know alls on this board he was done and needed to be cut....
Is.He represents everything that was once great about the Cowboys and the NFL. A truly throwback player.
Lol
