Sorry if already posted, but I was wondering when he might be back, so I started to google exactly how long ago he sprained his ankle. And in doing so, I saw that KFFL said a couple of hours ago that he might practice next week. I know KFFL just collects news from newspapers and websites, but I didn't see where they got this.

Anyway, that's great news. If he can start practicing a little next week, he should be back and playing by, say, after the bye three weeks later. At first I was thinking he might be gone longer than that.

I think he'll really add something later in the year if he can get the defense down well enough.

Haven't seen a thing on Jason Williams, but I'll check the DC.com articles just in case.

Maybe Wade said something in his PC. I'll post that in the Daily zone, as well.

EDIT: Didn't hear anything in the PC either.

Good news! Jason needs to beat out Carp as the nickel LB, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

If he gets 100% he'll probably have Carpenter relegated to the bench by Thanksgiving IMO. He was really coming on in TC/preseason before the injury.

hope so... but i don't expect much this year. he was just starting to get it a little then being hurt for so long... really we just kept him active roster so he could continue to learn, no way he is taking Barbie's spot now

Defense needs all the help it can get. Not sure how much Jason will offer, but we need to find out.

Want to see him blitz alot, with his speed and athleticism, he should be able to do that much this year.

Why? Bradie James is the one who is awful in coverage.

you can take the man out of Arkansas, but you can't take Arkansas out of the man.

well they did say he could start playing in 4-6 weeks, so it's not unrealistic that he could start practicing coming up on 3 weeks since the injury

even if it is only light jogging and riding the stationary bike

I hope, but injuries to a rookie might set them back a little farther. However, I am hoping that our line up will be Barbie free sooner rather than later.
