Maybe you haven't visited the board enough or read enough threads.BaybeeJay;2867584 said:Haven't heard a word about this guy, good or bad. Anyone seen him on the field?

I've read quite about a bit about him. Good and bad.
he has ability and athleticism, he is more dexter coackly than quincy careter. they knew when they drafted him it may take a couple of years.irvin88;2867602 said:Typical Jerry reach. He's like the Quincy Carter of linebackers.
That's to be expected. B.Will has stood out more than Jason.noober;2867835 said:Admitting that I don't have time to read EVERY post (but I still spend too much time here) I've read a little bit about Brandon Williams but haven't seen a lot of news regarding Jason.
He was tagged as a special teams ace and role player by most of the draftniks on this board. At least for his first year or two, so it doesn't make sense to dump on him one week into camp.
Maybe someone who has been to TC can give us a recap of his performance so far?

Yes. From DMN's chat today...CowboyFan74;2868152 said:Is he the one that everyone was saying is very raw?
9:43 [Comment From Tim]
My friend played football with Jason Williams in College. He said he struggles during coverage and shedding blocks. He did say that if he is left untouched he will make a play against the run, or get a sack. He also said he will be a beast on special teams. Just wondering if you have seen him improve on the 2 knocks he recieved from a college buddy?
9:45 Tim MacMahon: Your friend offered a pretty good scouting report. Williams is also struggling with the mental adjustment of playing off the ball after basically lining up right over the center or guard and blitzing most plays at Western Illinois. He has the potential to be an impact player, but he's a project for LB coach Reggie Herring.
