hmmm, I am not surprised. probably the rumor started with Jerry, just testing the waters and see how fans react....there is a ghost account and ghost user that's actually jerry leaking stuff to the press...

Sure bring in a guy with zero nfl coaching experience and let them learn on the job. Actually, John Kitna has had more success than Jason W at the high school level which is important to the Wizard of AT&T.

I wouldn't have minded him being given a quality control position. But that was kind of impossible when the talk of him being considered for head coach or head coaching in grooming started. Some players have gone from player to a coaching position without even the success that Witten has had on the high school level. For example, Darian Thompson jumped right from playing through 2022 into being a quality control assistant/assistant linebackers coach for us in 2023.

Well, it did come from an NFL source. So maybe our problem is believing some of those reporters who are throwing things out that are unconfirmed.

Of course, Witten could be lying about not speaking with Jones, but I think a lot of these reporters are in such a hurry to beat other reporters to a story that they toss out any tidbit without checking with trusted sources.
