Why isn't Witten pulling from Wade Phillips or Jason Garrett? It'd be fresher in his brain.

Instead he goes back to when he had a real coach.

Witten has been a favorite of mine since he started. I was stoked when I pulled a signed Tennessee jersey of his for just $150. That was the opening bid and I had a friend who lives in Tennessee go in on it at a charity auction. The framing alone cost me more than the jersey itself. Absolute steal.

Yeah, I have a signed Irvin and Staubach jersey framed - it came with an 8x10 photo in it as well - and the framing cost me $400.

I honestly think Bill and and playing with Mark Campbell were the 2 biggest influences on his career. I think thew way Bill spoke to him made him buy in and he carried that hardnose style with him through the years and probably explains some of the strain he had with other TEs the team brought in.
