Martellus Bennett dubbed the Cowboys' dynamic tight end duo "Beans and Rice," but he forgot to consult Jason Witten about the nickname.
"I'm not claiming that nickname, for sure," Witten said on ESPN's First Take this morning.
Witten did say that he's open to suggestions, though. Marty B is already on the case, asking the folks following him on Twitter @Jupiters_Crunch (MartyBTV is soooo last month) to give him some ideas.

I just watched the interview and the important part, in my mind, is that before he votoed it he said he was still "molding" Bennett. That's very different from the approach he took to him last year where he told him to stop being a baby and wipe his own ***.

It's all in fun, guys. Nicknames are all over the league. Martellus is a fun-loving guy. Not everyone shares his humor, but I really don't think he's implying that he's at the same level as Witten. Just trying to have a little fun.
