Talked to my friend today who is Sikh and he basically shook it off.

I told him the presentation and how the plaintiff is saying,

"exposed Sikhs and their religion to hatred, contempt and ridicule because it portrayed the holiest place in the Sikh religion as a vacation resort owned by a non-Sikh"

Although I did have one aspect incorrect, I explained it as though the guy is pissed that a non-Sikh would go there as the primary "offensive" issue.

To my description he replied, "that's BS. That building has doors on every side, facing every direction so ALL can come in".

He kind of got a little agitated and said, "it's a few bad apples who give the whole lot a bad image".

Romney didn't file the law suit. Some Sikh Religious leader did. THEY got offended.

Ahhh, my mistake. I got the impression this was a problem for both his people and this religious group.
