Jay Ratliff signs with bears

Oh, I have. I'm on the 'hoping he breaks his leg' line of thinking now. :)

Like I said, and I'm sure you don't mean that-

I wish real injury on nobody...

But...

I would love someone to go Ultimate Warrior over his limp corpse.

Because Rat was our guy that was ready to punch someone in the mouth, Aint nobody on this team trying to test Rat. But if you think that theres multiple ppl on this team that will b ready to "pop him in the mouth" you keep thinking that =)

1 in mind Hatcher, to bad he doesn't play offense

Maybe you're right.

I think Tron lays down for no man.

Do you?

I think Fredbeard won't wilt in Rats face.

Do you?

I think there are teammates that feel betrayed by his actions.

I may be wrong, but like I said- I know human nature and I wouldn't take his **** lying down.

These guys get hit everyday. in games, in practice, they are not afraid of getting hit or hitting someone else.

You can be nice and still show someone you don't do this to your team.

Am I so wrong for this?

This attitude?

Nobody else agrees with me?

Am I on an island?

I believe in my team, from a heart standpoint. I haven't seen them quit since Wade yet people here are telling me our team is filled with Pee-Wee's

NO.

I refuse to believe it.

If Rat plays- there will be hard hits. There will be pancakes.

There will be a modicum of retribution.

I believe this.

You don't? Fine. Go about your business thinking your team that you root for is nothing but a bunch of weenies ready to be roasted.

I'm sure that's fun.

I could see Witten roughing it up with em and surely aint scared of a punch (broken jaw...jeebus).

Yup.

I firmly believe, despite what our fellow fans tell me- that this team is not filled with a bunch of Pollyanna's.

They know the score. Nobody has to tell them. I'm not talking about head-hunting, nor would I condone it, but...

A little extra adrenaline... A little extra oomph against a traitor.

Against a man who left your mates high and dry in the middle of a season.

They think about it.

I would. You would. They do. At least some of them do.

And that's what I'm talking about.

Put this toad on the turf.

Look him in the eye and let him know- you aren't above this team.

You never were.

I just loathe traitors.

Especially when they have been given a King's ransom to simply do what they do best.

When they have been given second, third chances when he would have fired from many other, much less paying jobs for such indiscretions.

He laughs at us.

He laughs at OUR team.

I want to say "OK, I'm done", but I haven't gotten over it yet.

Please forgive my anger, board...

Yeah and on top of that Rat was a real jackass !!!

This makes the 12/9 game at Soldier Field so much more interesting.

I have tickets to that so this sounds fun.

If Ratliff is a problem or disruptive, I hope one of our guys can grab him by the face mask and "fall" :) what is sportsmanship again? Get old school on his punk ash

I doubt he has much insider info to offer the Bears about our defense. The dude sat on *** in the infirmary during training camp and the season. The water boy probably has better insights than him.

I still remember how he was so against playing DE in the 3-4 and so many people said oh, it's because he's better at NT.

Now it should be clear there is a very real possibility the team wanted him at DE and he flat out refused.

Plus, the Cowboys have the worst defense in football anyway already.

If that's the case he never should have gotten an extension.

But this team defies human nature, and I think we all know that.

Touche.

I hope you're wrong.

I truly do.

I think these guys are MEN.

They direction from their superiors, but they are, after all- just men.

And men have emotions and judgments and will react to those who harm their own.

But I guess we'll see, won't we?

Think about this...

How would you feel if you are Hatcher? Guy comes out a few weeks ago saying Jay would be huge and we need him. But to find out that Rat wasn't healthy and was let go from the team and hear from Rats agent how injured he is to hear a week later he was cleared to play then to find out he was signed by the Bears today?

That would be a huge slap in the face to someone Rat called a friend. That's straight up betrayal to a friend.

I have to think like you do. I can think of three players on the team that have the stones to man up at all times in all situations. Sean Lee, Dez Bryant, and Dwayne Harris. That said, I don't think Ratliff is anyone to be feared. JMO.

I hope Frederick drives him into the ground a few times.
