Honestly I didnt want to take any RB at 4. However I doubt I would have drafted Ramsey either, guy didnt make enough plays in college. We'll see if that trend continues.

Sure he made plays. Sacks, forced fumbles, tackles for losses, shutting down receivers. Its not always high pick numbers.

Ramsey was the pick I wanted at that point, assuming a worthwhile trade back wasn't on the table. Everybody knows I don't like spending the premium assets on a RB, but Elliott's going to be a good player for a long time in Dallas. What's done is done.

Most teams aren't going to have that Giants interior line, too. Zeke will end up getting his share of yards, but I have to admit I was surprised how underwhelming he was yesterday. I was also surprised they didn't try to get him outside more and up the sidelines. I thought that was one area we could take advantage of this DL. Stretch them out and maybe tire out those big boys later in the game.

On draft day, if given four choices with one having to include Zeke, mine would've been:

1) trade down shallow 1st--still get a fairly high 1st rounder plus a another 2nd rounder
2) ramsey
3) trade down later 1st (get two 1st rounders)
4) zeke

but I do think Zeke should be good


BTW, Jalen should keep his trap shut after only one game. Silly

I'd have preferred Ramsey and Henry, but then again who would Ramsey be replacing here in that first year? Would he be a safety or a corner? He also would have to contend with being on a team with no kind of pass rush. Elliott was brought here for the more immediate impact, and I'm fine with the Zeke pick. The problem is Zeke was babied during preseason and came out rusty and looked awful against a team geared to stop the run. He'll look better when we can get Dak off the backup qb game plan and let him take shots down the field.

I was certain the Gmen D was gonna tire out as big as they are in the middle.
