Anyone know what the other boards are saying about Jaylon today?

Particularly the Patriots and Seattle, though NFC East comments might be fun?

Might be fun if they noticed - like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I'd be shocked if anyone outside of hardcore Cowboys fans (ie: this board and other obsessives like us) have any idea about who Jaylon Smith is, his being activated and what he could possible mean if he does in fact play this year.

I wouldn't worry about it.. I doubt any team drafts him in the first 3 rounds and as of now we have no real reason to believe we made the right choice.
Exactly right. I'm just assuming it's another busted 2nd round pick until he proves otherwise. Just playing alone also doesn't count.

He is the greatest Cowboys player who has yet to play in a game. Or practice.
I hope he gets back in time to hoist the Super Bowl trophy, bloke!

If true, he would seriously owe Cowboys fans an explanation for trolling us.

They talked about it briefly on Philly radio. Basically, it would royally suck for them if the Cowboys got Smith back and he was good when they already got Zeke and Dak out of this draft.

They were also talking about how you can understand why Philly and Dallas are where they are - the difference in first round picks since 2010.

Eagles - Brandon Graham (good), Danny Watkins (big bust), Fletcher Cox (Pro-Bowler), Lane Johnson (good but one more test from a year suspension), Marcus Smith (bust), Nelson Agholor (looking like a big bust).

Cowboys - Bryant (Pro-Bowler), Smith (Pro Bowler), Claiborne (was close to a bust but played well this year), Frederick (Pro Bowler), Martin (Pro Bowler), Jones (good).

That doesn't include Wentz (unknown) and Elliott (stud).

So in the drafts before this one the Eagles have one Pro Bowler and 2 decent players to show for their first round picks, the Cowboys have 4 Pro Bowlers and two good players.

Why? Really?

Because many teams didn't know if he would ever play again.
But you have no way of knowing how a draft plays out in a hypothetical scenario. All speculation is pointless but counterfactual declarations are even worse.

Nelson A. literally is one of the better draft picks. 70 snaps. 0 catches and a penalty negating a big TD. I hope for more like him.

Indeed, and for those looking at Smith this year being the next big hit,,, just temper your expectations, next year will be a blessing, its just not happening this year guys.
