Damn good question. If he never played a down. Could he win rookie of the year?

think he's more likely to win rookie of the year than comeback......if he's even eligible to do either one

If he has never played a down in the NFL, can he win the Comeback Player of the Year award?

When and if he's able to comes back, it's a guarantee he'll be the comeback player of the year....He had one of thee most devastating injuries in all of sport and the NFL would clearly recognize that accomplishment..

I believe he won't qualify for comeback player of the year cause he's never played a down in the NFL.

Rookie of the year he will probably qualify for since he didn't play last year.

Interesting thing to me is in those vids we have seen of him, he seems to be picking up his knees a whole lot more than he did in college perhaps cause of having to get that foot off the ground.....maybe its just me.

Could be, but also could be that it is heavily taped, and just looks different or causing him to lift a bit higher. Kind of like if you put a lift in one shoe, but not the other. Which is also why some see a limp, as to where others do not. Just perception.

I think thats only a thing in the NBA

Yeah don't know if its different.

I don't know, just watching it, it looks kinda different from seeing him run in college.....looks more busy and compensating for the foot, almost like he's high stepping. Whatever works is fine with me, but it does look different than college.

Yes, another JS is back thread, but he says he has been practicing without the brace at times.

I wonder, what do CowboysZone naysayers think about that?
Dunno about the naysayers but I think the guy is going to be a legit player by the end of the year. May take half a season to knock the rust off but he should finish the season strong and be at his best going into the playoffs when it really matters.

One of the biggest problems with our defense against Green Bay in the playoffs was bad tackling on run plays and on short passing plays. Jaylon has the athletic ability and the instincts to to make that problem a lot smaller.
