Jaylon Smith: Dropfoot Fading

Interesting... I hope it's true. The guy clearly couldn't cut and change direction with any reliability, much less explosion, but it did seem like things started flowing better the last part of the season for him.

I'm rooting big-time for him.

After disappointment year after year with our 2nd round picks its nice a gamble is payimg off... (Lawrence is an exception, jury is still out on Awuzie)

If the FO depends on Smith and not draft a talented LB and/or not sign one that would be a bad gamble.

I do hope he improves next season though.
Even if the are depending on smith we need another Lb if not two
We need young depth and get rid of the Wilbur’s and the likes which saves money and hopefully they develope into starters down the road

I agree, he hit a plateau when he played a bunch of games but it seemed like he kept getting better.

I never thought he'd come along this quick but I'm glad he did. We need great LBers :)

I was more impressed with Bobby Carpenter his rookie year tbh.

Well there goes the dreams of Roaquan Smith or any other past the 4th round......

Although I hope he does come back 100%.....2 years later.....

They may not have that choice. They are picking late in the first and they could go a bunch of different ways.
