Jaylon Smith Made The Defense Worse

The defense wasn’t really good/bad today. Didn’t look any different than the past few weeks. He wasn’t a necessary piece so to speak.

I really really reallllllly hope this is the last Jaylon smith post that’s allowed on this forum, he’s no longer a Cowboy.

The horse has been beat to death.
I'm sure Brown takes over that mantle, but he had a pick 6 so things should be quiet on him for about a week.....

im going to hold off on that because the Giants had so many injuries we can gauge where they are

but our run d has been solid all year

I mean Jaylon maybe made 2 memorable plays his entire career, both coming in 2018. One was the running stop on Watson, and Cox equalled that by stopping and unfortunately knocking out Jones, who is just as fast

That was clear today. The run defense looked so much better without him there. Cox was being held back, but now he's getting playing time and already doing things Jaylon just can't do.

In fairness, that Giants run game is pretty mediocre to bad thus far this year. So was it simply just subtracting Jaylon or was it the fact we played a mediocre running team that lost their best TB early in the game?
