Jaylon Smith on GMF

I've heard him speak dozens of times and I would not call him intelligent. It's not something that can be faked but he clearly faked you out. Never, ever should have been given that contract either because he had the maturity of an 8 year old.
Seems like you have a different idea of who he was. Nothing but great things have been said about him. The worst thing you can say about him is what he signed the contract Jerry gave him?

Whatever smarts he has weren't displayed on the football field. Worst instincts I've ever seen out of a supposed generational player.

Why would he have anything bad to say? They GAVE him money he never earned.
He made 31 million in Dallas. Hardly big money.

He’s always been this way. I don’t know if Cowboy fans outside of this site even dislike him. Always was a good kid. Anyone else probably doesn’t even make it to the nfl after the injury.
im confused now. i just read he is really stuoid from our esteemed zone posters. add to that,he isapparently a criminalfor stealing money fromt the team.

Jaylon Smith could have been a really good NFL player

that injury was just too much. it sucks to see so much potential not be realized.

It's good to see that he's not dwelt on it and has moved on to newer opportunities

What a bum. Listen to him sitting around bragging about all he does for kids and the community. Oh poor baby... his knee injury wasnt even that bad. He made it sound like he was Lt. Dan.

Ghandi.... what an amazing man. Kind hearted, giving of himself, never asking for anything. Wow, what a person.

1,2,3....... he sucked. Dude was bald and was 5 ft tall and thought he was tough. Then they made a movie about him? please... never has there been a less deserving person to have a huge movie made about them. You people are such simpleminded fools to believe his act. Ahhh, it feels so good to **** on people. Fido!.... where the hell are you? I need someone to kick, get your butt over here, Fido!
Lol...id rather kick some of our posters than fido!! Especially the ones that fake me out. Lol

Im still laughing

Dude cared more about business deals than football. Can't hate him for wanting success after football but there was rumors he was focused a lot on his ventures than football post contract and his play declined big time post deal.

I am not a Smith fan. Too bad about the injury but he was a buffoon on the field.

Anyone watch this? I was utterly impressed with him. So well spoken, so bright, so positive.

They asked him to please explain what it was like playing for the Cowboys. He was clear... that "Cliche," Americas Team is real. The big lights, expectations.... he loved it all. Wants to retire a Cowboy. Said he weas so disappointed he didnt get to help bring a title home for Jerry. Another former player that simply had nothing but positive things to say about the Boys.

This kid was very smart.
I was expecting another ex player bashing the Cowboys and talking about the inner workings of the front office and the Fanborn narrative that it's a mess and they don't know what they're doing and they have no plan and then I come in here and it's a positive post i'm very shocked...lol

What's as bad as people thinking that Cole Beasley who was very butthurt and had a lot of bad things to say on his way out and a few others taking little shots but it's funny when Cole Beasley starts begging to come back.. If it was in such chaos and disarray you have a lot of players that say an awful lot of nice things and ex coaches I don't hear a lot of the narratives being proven it I know there is problems and have been some problems with the front office and the way they handled free agency and all those other narratives with the drought but I think overall most of the coaches and players who have come through here have nothing but good things to say about their experiences...
