Hard to believe this is about money. Are they saving money now to sign Gallup.
He wasn’tHe just wasn’t a difference maker anymore
Maybe. Makes no sense. Unless a failed test. Or saving for Gallup. There had to be some kind of falling out with management over playing time.
If they wanted to cut him they would’ve done it long ago.
Yeah it’s disappointing to see all the lowlife comments. He worked his butt off.....I wish him well and I think the jokes are pretty shallow.
This is why players should get paid when they can. Some fans don't appreciate a damn thing and make hate jokes about one of their own players.
I too think it's an attitude thing. He doesn't like his reduced snaps, and then maybe he demanded a trade and nobody wanted the deal, so they cut him.
Um….don’t get that. He’s been a decidedly average NFL linebacker this year playing a lower number of snaps. You already owe him all his money this season and you’re not going to get anyone better off the street.
Just seems like a pointless move that only hurts depth
Gallup wont be resigned. We got Wilson as his replacement. This is just money for Gallup, Wilson, Kearse, Schultz etc
Plus now puts Cox on the field more

Exactly. Something up.He wasn’t
I wanted to move on after the season
Just don’t get the point of releasing him since you have to pay him and he’s still better depth than who you could sign off the street
His contract is guaranteed for this seasonHard to believe this is about money. Are they saving money now to sign Gallup.
Was just naming some names off the top of my headGallup wont be resigned. We got Wilson as his replacement.
It’s a sign of a coaching staff constantly self-evaluating and looking for ways to improve, regardless of win-loss record. A refreshing change in Dallas.
