Desperately hope it works out for the kid but I am starting to have serious doubts that it ever will. Another anonymous team doctor in article yesterday said that basically when he didnt have any improvement at the combine medical check in following the surgery, he was taken off the team draft board because in his words he felt "the deficit would be permanent". And no this isnt David Chao FWIW who basically said the same thing.

Yeah and I dont have a medical background at all but it seems that he should have shown more improvement both initially and to date than he has. Hope he's wrong but I am less optimistic than I was.
that article by "Mr. Injury Expert" was as anecdotal as it gets, the comments were funny tho

Have you ever thought that perhaps (just perhaps) he's excited about a possible change in his improvement that may prepare him to fulfill the actual promise of being ready to go for 2017? It seems the only people in here getting their lingerie all wadded up are the people that were begging for him to play this year.

He was drafted to play in 2017.
