I've been at three practices so far. Jaylon looks a little stiff, he plays very high imo but he still can get to the ball. I think he should play unless he is more prone to injury at this point.

He needs to see game speed and this is the best time to get his work in.

I'd wait till the third preseason game to bring Jaylon in. Give him the extra time to heal without putting him at risk. Two presseason games are enough of a tune-up.

He's still recovering feeling in his foot and some people want to trot him out in a completely meaningless game.

What is this, the Dumb Zone?

If he is still recovering I doubt that 4 more weeks is going to make a huge difference. If he's is gonna play week 1, he needs to get some limited action in all the games unless they plan to let him play later in the season

Some fans have convinced themselves that's he's 100% because he's been on the practice field, even comparing him to All Pros already. I get the excitement over his potential, but a fully healthy player doesn't need the brace he's wearing and opponents aren't going to take it easy on him. If anything, they'll test that leg and see just how ready he is to play on it. Give him all the time he needs to get there.
