I really feel for him. It will be interesting to see how high he gets drafted.

I had read that the fear was there was a dead nerve in his knee. His recheck is going to be key in where he gets drafted imo. As it stands I probably would just stay away unless he falls to the 6th. I feel horrible for the kid. From all accounts he sounds like a good guy who got incredibly unlucky.

Dead nerve or not, he's still worth a 4th-rounder. One thing I've learned in my many years is the body learns to adapt. I think in time he will be fine.

If he's there in the fourth, it's a no brainer. Write off this season as a contributor and wait for good things in 2017.

Definitely.4th rd is our designated. Projects and risks RD anyway.

I think this report is after a re-check. The nerve isn't dead, it's just damaged and will heal on its own (per the article).

I am absolutely on board with taking Jaylon. He's the best defender in this draft if healthy.

I thought the recheck wasn't until the 14th or 15th of April? Thats the date I keep hearing in regards to Jacks knee.

He won't be there in the 4th. I believe he'll be off the board early in the 3rd at the latest. I don't think Dallas will be his landing spot. One could wish, though..

Well we did spend a second on Bruce Carter who was basically a wash his rookie season.

Yeah, and he had his injury history, too, but I think we were desperate to find a running mate for Lee instead of trotting out Brooking and James. I don't smell the desperation at the LB position, especially for what the Cowboy's might see as potential injury redflag LB again.

Risk vs reward, I'll risk a 3rd for a player who could possibly be a top linebacker in the league... some might not risk it, but those who don't might miss out on something big or might not miss out on anything at all

I can dig that. Prefer our 4th though. Our 3rd is practically a 2nd.

He was nflnetwork and has another recheck I believe the 18th. He won't be healed that should give them an idea of how he is progressing. If a team thinks he could be 100% by next year he won't last past the top of second rnd
