He looked better than I expected actually.
He seems to have figured out how much effort he has to exert and how much risk he has to put himself at injury-wise to stay employed in the NFL.

I never really thought he couldn't play I just thought he was unwilling to put himself at risk of injury so he would avoid contact as much as he could get away with

Guys a joke. He’s like the defensive version of Fraudo Prescott. Have to say he played somewhat ok yesterday too.

I said it before Jaylon was cut by the Cowboys. The best thing that could ever happen is if he got picked up by an NFCE team.
When they hired Quinn, I said how they handle Jaylon will be a key issue. If he remains a starter then we know Quinn is handcuffed by management.

Too much is being made of this.

Romo was always screwing around on the field but no one hated on him.

Romo wasn't jumping on piles acting like he was in on the play, matter of fact I have NEVER a player do what Jaylon did

I just dont think Jaylon would be in the NFL if he had that bad of depth perception or whatever would make him dive at a dog pile 2 second late and 5 feet short. I believe he was "fooling" around. Whatever it was it was not a serious attempt at contributing to a play.

People were raving in the game thread about how well he played, and I was wondering if we were watching the same game. Outside of 1 stuff, he looked as bad as he did here. Definitely helped us yesterday

Regardless how some of you may feel about the guy, Jaylon Smith had a solid game yesterday and was pretty active on defense..

Don't think Jaylon was trying to hurt anyone intentionally out there, just competing against his former team which added more to his play. Nothing more Nothing less

Some of you guys trying to paint the guy to be Vontaze Burfict... smh

Well when the announcer said what's he doing out there has he lost his mind That pretty much sealed it for me that I wasn't seeing things.

Then I watched it over again about 10 times and that should have been unsportsman like conduct in the most blatant form

Can somebody tell me what in the hell Jalen Smith was doing leaping into the pile like an all-star wrestler with a flying elbow.

And how the hell was that not some type of unsportsman like conduct penalty.

That was absolute lunacy. That ranks right up with Mike Tyson biting evander holyfield's ear off.

Any insight on that would be appreciated I'm at a loss

He just wanted to show up on the TV and the game tape to act like he was involved in the play. But that was a punk move. However, you must admit, he is elite because he told us he was.
