Jaylon Smith

He’s got to where I don’t notice him at all so in his case that’s probably a positive.

And now, time for our favorite game; stats with absolutely zero context.

Myles Jack
87 Tackles, 2 Sacks, 3 Passes Defended

Jaylon Smith
78 Tackles, 1 Sack, 2 Forced Fumbles, 2 Passes Defended

Deion Jones
128 Tackles, 1 Sack, 3 Interceptions, 9 Passes Defended

I'm sure we never even considered Jones, since he was just 6'1, 222 lbs and far less hyped.

I hope you don't make a living evaluating talent.
Lol wat

He’s 100% right. Who cares if he had all the talent in the world? It’s been two years and people are still beating the “once he’s 100% healthy...” drum. Still expecting him to be good is just plain silly and not accepting reality.

I give Jaylon Smith credit for working so hard to get back on the field. He showed flashes of what he can become, but clearly he's not 100 percent.
It was kind of funny seeing him try to redirect himself on the field, like a man slipping on the ice moving one way and trying to go another direction.
Here's hoping he has a full recovery next year. If we don't get a new coach and a new, innovative scheme, we're going to need all the blue chip players we can get to get to the Super Bowl. That's the only way we're going - by having the best players - because we're not going to get help from our coaching staff.

That white stuff is one fantabulous drug.

Dude is just finishing his first year (aka rookie year) after coming off a devastating injury. He progressed well throughout a season in which he was thrown to the wolves. I know you guys have issues seeing through your hatred but try once to view him without the flavors of the ades clouding your minds.

Woe. Another fair level headed evaluation. I know they're out there. Awesome.
