So watching some highlights on Youtube of Jaylen, I see great range and speed and not really hitting people hard when he gets there. Kind of wrap and riding guys to the ground.

Then I stumble across this video of him pash rushing and it is extremely impressive!

His get off, bend, and pash rush moves while having his hand on the ground are amazing. He is an excellent blitzer from the LB position as well.

I like him even more when he is attacking and you see why this kid was considered at the top of the draft pre-injury.

He's a legit superstar talent... Hopefully he's not a shell of himself for 2 or 3 years.

Thanks. He did not do this a lot at Notre dame but in those scrimmages he showed that natural bend coming around the corner. When healthy he is a freak. Lets hope he can get and stay healthy.

Smith is a talent to be sure when 100%. Question is how soon and fully will he recover. If 100% consider him a first round pick next year. without the injury he would have been a top 5 pick this year, no doubt. If he plays at all this year, consider that a bonus, but I would shelve him this year and bring him out next year. He will be a boost to the D and if Lee ever stays healthy, him and Lee would be trouble for the NFL. High risk, HIGH reward type thing here.

Maybe Ro wakes up now

Agreed with allowing him to sit and completely mend. Don't push too hard. Come back the right way and have an elongated career.

I think Smith allows the Cowboys to stop playing with fire in the case of McClain. This kid is going to be a super star in this league, I have no doubts. It was said months ago, but without the injury I truly believe he is the best talent in the draft and a lock top-5 pick. It was harsh to see that 2nd rounder not bring immediate impact, but for the player they got I think it was worth biting the bullet.

This is what Jerry does. Same logic in a way with taking Gregory last year. Top Ten talent with considerable "hair" in the 2nd round?

I think he'll do that all day long and will continue to do it going forward. We'll see if it pans out this time. I am not about to close the book on Gregory but he's definitely not trending the right way, that's for sure.

How often do you expect a 4-3 MLB to be an edge rusher? Also, if you notice in every one of those highlights that were in real games, the only plays where he gets pressure are when he is untouched. If he gets blocked, he's blocked. Even by running backs.

Same could be said of your boy, Jack. Did he even have a sack at UCLA?

EDIT: He had one........ his frosh year.

Not really concerned with a middle linebacker in a 4-3 getting sacks.

I'll stand quite corrected in looking for Ragland in the top of the second round.
Great speed and adjustments.
Sit this year - back in 2017 with same speed.

I guess you didn't watch the whole thing. And the fact that at times he is whipping Stanley...I guess that is unimpressive as well?
