I want to call out two REALLY strong games from this guy. I knew very little about him, so here is some background:

Safety
6-4
, 215lb (193cm, 97kg)
College: Clemson
Drafted by Minnesota in 7th Round 2016
76 Games Played, 5 Started
Tackles: 156 Combined (113 Solo)
TFL: 3
INTs: 1
PDs: 12

Literally just a journeyman, late round player/ST guy who has made MAJOR impact the last two games. Great pickup and depth by the team. I was crazy excited for Neal and Hooker, but Kearse I feel has made more impact than either.

People forget, he was projected as a 1st rounder entering his final year.

Height seemed have made his stock go down.

Huge fan of his and was stoked when we signed him. He has the dawg in him like Diggs. Loved seeing him making the Eagles bench and Goedart angry

I had major doubts about him when Dallas signed him in FA, I have been more than impressed with his play.

I thought he'd be a ST guy. I love his play against TEs. Having a big DB who can shut down tall seam players? Yes pls.

There were just a lot of warning signs pertaining to off the field issues. As I said I am more than pleased with his play, he is making an impact on defense not just holding down a position

I totally whiffed on Kearse. I didn’t think he’d even make the team! But he’s played great and been a nice addition.

 <- me

I loved that our guys kept their cool even when the Eagles tried to provoke them. The Cowboys took the high road and won where it mattered.

He makes the back end of this defense very scary if he continues playing like he has. Micah is getting a lot of praise but Jayron Kearse has been playing lights out and for my $ is just as important as Micah so far!

He made plays for the 2nd week in a row. My gosh the safety upgrade from Heath/Frazier is like night and day. It's so nice to see good safety play again. I believe Kearse is the real deal.
You know I keep it real about Clemson players. I was shocked that he went later than round three. I heard something around the department that there were some behavioral concerns like frequent team rule breaking. One of those players that went to college because thats what you need to do to play pro, not because he wanted to go to school. He was groomed young to play pro football as his Uncle is the Freak.

actually as a unit they all are working well together..this is team defense at its best,,hes definitely a surprise and imagine when Wilson gets back..this is by far the best Safety group we have had in a decade..

that Bucs game where he tipped that ball went and found it and INTs it only to be called back was pretty dang athletics..i don't think it was PI but hey it was still an impressive play..

its Kazee, hooker, Wilson and Kearse

Neal a LB now..he was missed..

I'm surprised we didn't see more Jabril Cox. He's gotta be our second fastest linebacker.

Perfect size and skillset as a BIG Nickel S.

Right now he's doing a good job replacing Wilson while he recovers from injury. Who gets the nod when Wilson is healthy?
