Why do you think he had to bad mouth him. They didn't ask him to bad mouth him. They asked how he felt about him. If you can't take a man at his word , then something is wrong with you.
Obviously, our thoughts are on 2 ends of the spectrum. I said "If Jayron had negative feelings toward McCarthy, would you think he would say it publicly?" Nothing more nothing less. I never said he did or didn't have negative feelings. I'm not Jayron and nor are you. It's how you perceived my comment. But that's cool... But if you read my comment again, you'll notice I also said I hadn't heard the interview. But now that I have, it just solidifies my feeling that Jayron seems to be very upstanding. I never doubted anything. Again, my question was a very simplified one. If he had negative feelings toward McCarthy, would you think he would say it publicly?

These past two years he's taken one depleted to the playoffs and doing it again this year.
This remains to be seen. If the giants and eagles have a better record than the Cowboys at the end of the season, Dallas will be sitting at home. It's going to be a tight race to the end.

I want to see Jayron from early 21 like the Tampa road game where the man was hitting everything and anyone . Haven’t seen that player , terrible playoff game against the 49ers and thus far in 22 not much to go on.
Yeah I hate to say it but it may be the 10 million dollars that makes him feel slightly less motivated. I felt like that was a great contract. Perhaps I was wrong. We may have to wait until next year to get the value.

What else do you expect him to say, if he felt differently he damn sure couldn’t say or express that. Otherwise y’all would call him Team Obliterator

He could Be release this offseason without much penalty. He should be motivated to play for his next bigger contract. Dude is almost 30 so he knows this is his last chance for one more big contract.

Comments are utterly worthless.

Terry Bradshaw "hated" Chuck Knoll.
Tom Brady "hated" Bill Belichick.
Troy Aikman once "hated" Jimmy Johnson for screwing around with his career.
John Elway "hated" Dan Reeves.
Russell Wilson didn't care for Pete Carroll.

It doesn't matter whether you like the coach or not. Does he get results?

Agree if you are talking NFL 1960's-1990's, but it is a different game now, just take a look at the Carolina Panthers. The Jags when they had Urban Meyer.

And Jason Garrett took the Cowboys to playoffs also and contributed to Dak's only playoff win. Go figure.

My point is ... comments about whether a player likes a coach and that, in and of itself, is some barometer that the coach is good is MEANINGLESS.
It's not necessarily a sign that "Hey, we're a great team because we like Coach _____" as some fans like to interpret such statements.
What do you expect a player to say?

Then I fortified my point by highlighting coach-player relationships that weren't so rosy, but those coaches and those players won rings.

I'm glad Kearse likes McCarthy. Good. Doesn't mean he's a good coach for the Cowboys. Just means he brings a smile to players' faces - at least Kearse's. :)

Yeah, and take a look at NY Giants under Tom Coughlin. They hated him all the way to two Super Bowl wins. Sure, he had to loosen up a bit, but his sphincter muscle was tighter than a lug nut or any nut and bolt on Air Force One.
Era has NOTHING to do with what I stated.

Fancy way of saying you disagree with Kearse, so Kearse must be lying.

That's not and unusual response from McCarthy's former players. Except for the flake who is now working on moving the current HC out of GB.
One of McCarthy or Aaron Rodgers had to go.

It probably wasn't McCarthy's fault but Rodgers had assumed too much power.

Rodgers butted heads with the new HC initially because he came in determined to be in control of everyone including Rodgers.

They made a bigger commitment to the running game and that was working.

Then they trade away Davante Adams and the cupboard is bare at WR this year.

It's weird that they gave a 38 year old QB a big contract extension and then don't give him receivers.

Let’s put it this way at this point it would not hurt my feelings if the Pokes went with Hooker Wilson Mukuamu trio and the young UDFA safety who made the team Marquise Bell .

And while I’m at it let’s see what Dallas has drafted with Jabril Cox and Damone Clark at the expense of vets 55 & 42 .
