If both are available, would it be better to the bigger Hampton ? Hampton is about the same size as Zeek, and I believe would hold up better in pass protection.

Jeanty's balance and tackle breaking is at a superpower level that we just don't often see. You start reaching for comparisons like Alvin Kamara, Lynch, LaDanian Tomlinson, etc, because he's in that kind of rarefied air.

Hampton is a big, fast dude with a well-rounded game, but nothing about him says "we won't see this for another 2 or 3 draft classes".

There's three teams picking ahead of us licking their chops for Jeanty. The odds of him dropping to 12 is about 0% now.
I agree 100%.......Raiders, Saints, and Bears. In fact, a couple of nuggets are suggesting the Bears may trade up if he gets past the Raiders.

JEANTY or round 3 RB... Not liking Hampton for some odd reason....probably because he reminds me of Murray.... nothing really stands out to me.

Both are solid 1st round RB prospects in most drafts…Jeanty a little better.

I’d have Bijan and Gibbs ahead of both as a prospect.

There’s no way in the world that the HC who built a SB winning offense around Marshawn Lynch does not draft Beast Mode’s spiritual heir at 6.

As soon as Carroll got the Raiders job, that was it for our chances of taking Jeanty at 12. Even before that, we all knew Johnson wanted him for Chicago.

At first I was saying Jeanty all the way but after watching some tape on Hampton I’ve changed to him
On tape he is a punishing back and has home run speed

Jeanty is RARE. It's him, then a big gap to the next tier. That tier is Hampton and Henderson. Then it's basically tier 3...which these guys in that tier are really really good too. Can't go wrong. But if a team wants a x factor that can mask a ton of misgivings in a team, it's Jeanty. He's not Barry or Emmitt, but he may be the closest thing we will see in the next 10 years. These guys don't come along often. When they do, you try hard to get that player on your team. Period.

I find it curious that Jeanty did not run a forty but Will Johnson did not run the forty people are concerned.
Do we really need Jeanty to run? Lol I think his body of work is rock solid and requires no further display. Conversely, Will Johnson was and is hurt, recovering from injury. He played only in 6-7 games this year and played outstanding in those games, his body of work is very lacking. It's a small sample size. He needs to provide further proof that he's healthy and should run. Jeanty will be top 10 pick etched in stone. Johnson's stock is all over the place depending who you talk to. He can make some money by running.

No we don’t need Jeanty to run but I could argue that Will Johnson has better game tape than Jeanty. Penn St. contained him while Will Johnson put hand cuffs on two top 10 pick receivers.

Hypothetically you make logic. Good point. But Jeanty running isn't going to improve his stock anymore than it is. We know what he is, WE THINK. But Johnson just needs to show his wheels are fine lol plus he stands to make big money by running.
