Connor Cook. Is he going to be a junior or senior this year?

What do you think? Could we get him in the late second rd?

Who knows, with this team, anyone with serious flaws can look good.

Take Dak for instance. . . this sorry excuse for a QB has a cult following.

I also remember that no team won the Super Bowl after losing their first 2 games of the season until the Cowboys did it. Also no wildcard team won the Super Bowl until the raiders won Super Bowl XV. Point being because it hasn't been done does not mean it won't happen.
.
.
And no team has won a Super Bowl with a Transgender QB. . . but I am sure that's on the way. . . might happen before greedy QB's win Super Bowls.

No thanks, in this Run n' Shoot, manufactured fast paced NBA version of the NFL. Where QB's are protected and rules have been manipulated for the sake of the Minnenials, who Love & Obsess over their STATS.

WHEREAS IN THE Golden Age of Football. The late 90's a QB was essential. Windows were tighter and intentional grounding meant the QB would have to make a mad break for the sideline . . . and still get rocked after stepping out of bounds.

The QB had to be a tough son of a ***** in order to remain standing by the end of the year. Whereas QB's were tougher in the 70's the difference in the 90's was it was the child of the 80s and the West Coast offense. Many from the Bill Walsh Family tree were becoming head coaches and were of this philosophy. They implemented this offense across the league and were successful.

It had become a war between teams that relied on defense with a complimentary Run Game Parcells, Jimmy Johnson. Against teams that wanted to move the ball quickly, they wished to use the pass to set up the run.

SIDE NOTE: Aikman was a bonus. A QB that will commandere the team and implement the Running Game while picking apart a defense that is getting hit with balance.

Some teams went ape shot nuts and started implementing The West Coast Offense.

Houston Oilers & The University of Houston and the Falcons.

The University of Houston were rolling out Heisman trophy winners & Record breakers. All High draft choices. But their success was attributed to weak level of play.

Houston Oilers had one of the greatest QB's who ever lived. He had harnessed his game in the Canadian football league and was able to play at a high level within that system given

Then Came Payton Manning vs. Belicheck. Belicheck figured out how to exploit a loop hole which allowed his Defensive Backs to mug the Indianapolis Colts Wide Receivers, and now football is nothing but a 40 yard dash . where even Dak can throw for 5000 ads.

Combine this with Unnecessary roughness for pinching a QB's *** too hard. Or the throw away rule as long as the QB is out of the Pocket. Add in all the defenseless WR rule and nobody knows how to enforce their territory any more. (There was a discussion over If Ronnie Lot would. excel in this age)

With all that being said. In this day and age The Run n' Shoot has reared it's ugly head again and is fast becoming the only alternative. The Cowboys has zigged while everyone zigged. We showcased Zeke as we should have in 2016 we took the league by storm. In 2017 Goodell and the league tried to ground us.

For what ever reason the league figured out Dak (probably studied his deficiencies and exploited them) either way doesn't matter any more.

Point being this The NFL & College football are in tune now and QB's that can read defenses and distribute the ball will excel. With 3 studs at WR the Cowboys will be making the transition.

Dak has none of these skillz. He is a bus driving dink n dunk run when things break down school yard player.

Its time to move on because the future is bright.

Here's what your long winded response is. NFL football has changed over the years. Like back in the 50's and 60's when QB called their own plays but that changed, but you didn't mention that. You brought up Warren Moon who was a good QB but how about a Bart Starr who is the only QB to win a NFL championship 3 years in a row who called his own plays. Then you brought up Aikman who does have 3 rings but you implied his accuracy was so good yet Aikman's completion percentage in every year except 1 is lower than all of Prescott's. Aikman as a rookie learning a new system threw 9 TD's and 18 picks while Prescott as a rookie learning a new system threw 23 TD's and set an NFL record for fewest picks by a rookie QB with only 4 all the while doing it with more attempts that Aikman's rookie season. Oh and BTW even in Aikman's time if he threw the ball beyond the line of scrimmage out of bounds it wasn't grounding.

In your dislike for Prescott you made a couple more errors in you rationalizations. Last season Prescott lead the NFL until week 14 in pass completions of 20 plus yards and 40 plus yards and ended up 2nd in both categories at the end of the season. So much for Prescott only able to dink and dunk. Then many sports people have said that Garrett didn't use Prescott's running as much as he could have and could have run more Run n' Shoot. Personally I don't subscribe to relying on that very often because that is subjecting your QB to a higher chance of injury.

On the examples I used as not happening in winning Super Bowls they all eventually did happen. You look very foolish with your transgender example so I'll match your foolishness and say there's never been a Super Bowl winning team with a martian QB.

All you've done is proved you're a Prescott hater. I'm not a huge Prescott fan but I do think he's nowhere close to being as bad as the haters try to paint him and it so easy to poke holes in their arguments.
