Jeff Heath just continues to improve

He is a very valuable asset to this team. That 4th down conversion on the fake punt was very crucial to this win ..not to mention his Stellar defensive play week after week.

If Earl Thomas was starting next to him, fans would love Jeff Heath.

Also it was great to see Awuzie finally healthy, he looked like his old self out there and played very well.

This Thread is only allowed for cool people so you're automatically disqualified saying some ignorant s*** like that

LOL ok...I'll let you and the "All Pro" Jeff Heath supporters continue on with their ignorance.

A lot of the stuff heath gets blamed for(and our safeties in general) is actually the fault of our CB's and LB's at time..if you don't bump a guy at the line a lot of the times the Safety won't have time to recover and make a play.

He would be a fan favorite because he is a great STs player who plays hard!

But he gets abused in coverage way to often and he needs to be upgraded over this offseason in the draft or a quality cheap FA as the safety market is cheap

I thought it was the opposite.

But, both are SS's.

The Cowboys deep Safety varies depending on the specific coverage but technically Woods is the FS and Heath is the SS this season.

Oddly, last season Heath was the FS and Byron Jones was the SS. They started replacing Jones with Kavon Frazier when they expected a run for about a 70/30 Jones/Frazier split of the SS snaps.

They started that season with Jones at FS and Heath at SS but switched because Heath had issues with angles at SS and it made it easier to have Jones cover TEs. When Jones was a FS they had to move him to CB to cover TEs and they would bring in another Safety.
