You can try and make it all about me but Heath only got extended on his tender amount without a raise and gave the team control for 3 more years. That's merit.

Heath still has excellent athletic metrics as evidenced by his pro day. That is merit.

Heath's interceptions on tipped balls were still assignment executed athletic plays as evidenced by the diving catches. That is merit.

All you are left with is settling for his tackle stats. That is completely without merit and it's not like he was missing tackles out there. Quite the contrary.

He is a good backup safety and ST player with upside who is paid only twice the minimum and under control for 4 years. He has improved every year.
