I heard on the Fan the other day that the patience has paid off by sticking with Heath all these years sans the Megatron fiasco. According to multiple players and coaches the way he played in the GB playoff game, 1 sack, 2 tackles, and a INT is the way he plays in practice every day. They call him the "Missile". Anyway, thought I would pass that along as that will be fantastic if he sticks full time finally!

Thanks for sharing that news. I have faith in Heath to get the job done in 2017. I think the team's patience has paid off. It will be nice to have a playmaker back there.

Regardless of what people think of Heath, the guy can ball and he's got some wheels. This is the year he shows us all he belongs. We should all be rooting for the guy. Mods should just go ahead and pin an "apology to Heath" thread now. Don't be surprised if he leads this team in INT's this year.....

Heath is a good player. Has been. Probably the fastest player in the secondary and is a hitter.

IMO, he'll be better than either Church or Wilcox.

I agree. I've always wondered why he wasn't given more of a chance to start and why Wilcox got more playing time. At least it seems to me Wilcox was on the field more. I don't know how many snaps each played. Wilcox was just a hard hitter but Heath can bring the wood plus he offers more speed and ball skills.

Heath was terrible early on but has developed for sure. There's no sense of dred when he goes in games anymore.
I would have played him ahead of JJ Wilcox all last year.

Heath and BJones is a nice coverage duo.
With Blanton and Frazier around I'm not sure if Safety as big a need as people think.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was league lead in Ints actually of we can muster a pass rush! ;)

Heath is no All Pro...but, he is a decent player and will contribute to the defense.
