I think Jerry realizes how important Ireland is to the team, and will do everything in his power to keep him, which may be giving him the title and role of GM

They may give him a Vice President of Scouting Operations or Vice President of Personnel (or something like that) title but they will have to wrest that GM title from Jerry's cold dead fingers.

Jeff seams like a guy that would want to be a NFL GM one day.

Now that's one GM I'd definately love to have as the Cowboys.
