Perfect guy for the position…..hire that man!huh? Never heard of him.

Maybe they "fix" Dak by making the running game a lot better.A RBs coach seems to contradict the notion that the change is about Dak.
Like when we interviewed Marvin Lewis. That was such a flagrant abuse of the rule that Jerry should've been fined.I'm not against the Rooney Rule.....I'm against smokescreen interviews.....seen it all to well, all too often in the league.....on a consistent basis. Let's not call a donkey a racehorse.
Ugh so many conflicted feelings about that rule
Marvin got a raw deal from Cincy……..they only gave him 16 years without winning a single playoff game and pulled the plug just as he was about to turn the cornerLike when we interviewed Marvin Lewis. That was such a flagrant abuse of the rule that Jerry should've been fined.
There is some wisdom to that. Prescotta averaged 33 passes per game last season and STILL led the league in INTs…….20 attempts limited to no passes over 20 yards may do the trickMaybe they "fix" Dak by making the running game a lot better.
Maybe they finally realized that Dak cant throw 30-40 passes a game without one or two being intercepted.
Solution.............run the dam ball and limit Dak to 20 throws a game, mainly off playaction.
I'm happy they are looking outside but I think it would have been great to bring in an outsider with his own system, bring in his staff, and call plays. MM calling the plays but running Moore's system doesn't feel like the best option but I could be wrong.Whether this guy is a decent candidate or not, and it sounds like he is, we should stop a second and realize they actually went outside. We could have be looking at crazy Jerry wanting to bring Garrett back as OC, or promoting some ball boy who guessed Moore was gonna run in to the middle on first down for 2 yards.
I never said that he wasn't qualified. I just stated that the Cowboy's FO has to interview a minority for positions. Don't you dare put words or your thoughtsSo he's not qualified to be an offensive coordinator? Just because he's a minority that's the only reason he's getting a look?
No matter what happens, the rule has to be obeyed or the team loses draft picks.I'm not against the Rooney Rule.....I'm against smokescreen interviews.....seen it all to well, all too often in the league.....on a consistent basis. Let's not call a donkey a racehorse.
first they wanted the rule but now thats not enough and now they want to dictate the final decisions made by the owners.
hire 100% of the candidates and keep them for as long as we decide no matter if they have success and they probably will still find fault with it
next it will be dictating who can own teams…….I like the free market where the person will be hired and retained or not retained based on the wishes of the people writing the checks
The sports media…..an endless drum beat.Who are "they"

into my mouth.
You're being dishonest. You implied that he was a Rooney Rule interview. You spoke nothing of his qualifications.
I can't speak on dictating owning teams and all that. i've always heard and agree with the lack of opportunities which led to the creation of the rooney rule, but nothing about keeping them for as long as we decide. If you suck, then you need to be fired. simple as thatfirst they wanted the rule but now thats not enough and now they want to dictate the final decisions made by the owners.
