DEZ loves him some football, but also loves him some Cowboys. Dez wants to be here but wants to get a big payday.(and I'm not talking about the candy bar)

I thought that too.
So if it's done by the 15th, it gives us 2 weeks of over debating about it...either way, about a new contract or about no contract, or about if he even signed the FT deal....

Mmmm no. They don't want to set the price. There's others in the same position as Dez like Demariuous Thomas who also got tagged and Julio Jones and AJ Green who might get extended. I thought the market was set by Megatron around $16M a year but since the onwers have the franchise tag leverage they control the market. So other than create a distraction the player has no leverage.
