It was because of his cast. He had to coral it it with his body after dropping 3 of them since he came back. All he was concerned about was getting the pick.

Without the cast, I believe he'd have caught that ball and ran for significant yardage.

Did you guys also notice that Hamlin was going to get a pick on one of the balls intended for Maclin that went into the ground.

That was hands down one of the best INTs I have seen any defensive back on this team make in YEARS.

It was perfect in every way.

I said the same thing in the game thread. I had to double check it was a guy with a star on his helmet who made that play.

Chalk me up as another guy who was pushing Scandrick in TC who was dead wrong.

Right, my initial reaction was, GET UP!, .. but then I kind of figured it out, .. and felt he made a great decision to just make the pick and not 'possibly' turn it back over to them.

Pretty smart on his part. Most kids do the selfish thing there, but he made a "team" decision.
