I'll believe it when I see it. I remember Newman last year promising he'd be healthy in time to see action in the preseason. Didn't happen. It's only natural for these guys to be optimistic.

Agreed, I don't want his first action of the year to be the opener.

Yea but Newman had groin problems if I remember correctly. Groins are WAY harder to get healed than ankle sprains.
