Early gut tells me Hurst ends up being the pick, think we get wiped out a bit & hurst is the guy left. I know we have a ton of time left but thats just my early gut feeling.
He was a non factor against Indiana (20 rushes, 56 yards, no TDs), OSU as you said, Rutgers (14 carries, 35 yards). OK in the Northwestern game and MSU games.
He strikes me more as a great athlete (great returner, explosive on screens, etc.) than a great running back.
Don't get me wrong, he's a Top 20 player in this draft but I don't think he's like Fournette and especially Elliott.
Out of this list I'd seriously consider Roquan Smith but I think I'm turning in the card for Connor Williams and I'm playing him at OG. Our line would be solidified for the forseeable future. As we get closer to the draft I think we will have some guys drop and others rise like always. I remember Aaron Donald’s was projected around 29-25. And he shot up.

The fact that he is undersized makes mock draft people ding him because it limits his ILB projection.
Truth is, teams don't care as much about having big "thumpers" at ILB as they used to. Depends on the staff.
Some are more rigid to the scheme than others. And they eliminate players based off of prototypes.
Zeke had his own turds...12 for 33 yards against Michigan State comes to mind.
I don't think he's the all-around
back that Zeke is (though he's an excellent reciever) but I do think he's a more talented runner with the ball in his hands; reminds me of a more physical Shady McCoy.

All I know is I would love for us to take Josh Jackson, he has a nose fir the football. And is tenacious for a corner. Especially if he us there and Hurst,Edmunds,or Smith are gone.
Yea its a good thing that all the QBs will be taken before us.Good thing about this draft is there will undoubtedly be a lot of QB's taken before our pick which will allow a good player to fall.
We just drafted 3 corners with high picks last year, not sure we can afford it. I heard he doesn't love to tackle, don't we have enough of that with Scandrick? I know plenty are clamoring to cut him, but for his contract I see no value in that.
If we sign an outside guy I want (correction, I need Thomas, NEED! Lol) Earl Thomas, i’d rather get hurstin the first & Nnadi in the second or Poona Ford in the 3/4 or even Lowell Louteleilei. Not sure of his value at the moment. His value seems to be quite down after a sub par final year at Utah.I'd be ok with this especially if we lose Irving. I was watching him and Vea last night and prefer Hurst big time. Spends more time in the back field. Initiates contact. Wins with power and agility.
I hope Vea blows up the combine to push Hurst to us. I just do not see the athleticism show up on the tape I watched. The more I think about it the more I want to sign Poe or Logan for 1 tech and draft a 3 tech.
Yea its a good thing that all the QBs will be taken before us.
Its not like we need a QB here....
He doesn't have nearly the wiggle McCoy had in his prime. Few running backs do.
Has this list changed in the last week or so ???Click the link for commentary.

I'm a Penn Stater. Barkley is a stud. You must be thinking about the Ohio State game. It was bad for the offense. They were keying on Barkley like crazy and the rest of the offense couldn't step up even when Barkley was a decoy. He will crush the combine.

I am an Iowa fan... I think he has Daniels too high. But I guess we shall see.Pretty surprised by his rankings for Ronald Jones, James Daniels and Rashaan Evans.
