The guy has had a nice preseason.

After David Johnson went off the board I wasn't really interested in any of the other RBs but this is looking like one we might have missed on. Maybe..

I thought McFadden looked good last night and thats without Martin playing. I would start him over Randle and hes also better in pass protection IMO. The Chaz Green selection may have been a mistake, but its way too early to know.

I was a fan of Langford very early but soured good. Good to see I may have been wrong

Wasnt a fan of Johnson as I didnt see him as true HB and more of a Larry Centers. It looks like I was off on that

To be honest as much as I hate to admit it, Matt Jones is the RB I think we should have taken if we passed on Chaz Green. He's already a better pass protector than Randle, but I'm not sure who we would cut to make room. Dunbar would be most likely, but he looks to be the primary KR.

Thought FOR SURE we were going RB either at our spot in the 3rd or in a slight trade down into the 4th.
I was wrong.

Good (GREAT!!) luck getting Gregory in the 2nd, but not so good luck not having Langford, Davis, or Allen make to us in the 4th. I would not have risked it...either a trade down from our 3rd or a trade up from out 4th to secure one.
Hindsite....

I wanted him and David Cobb. They would have fit well with our system.

Heck if we wanted to we could have traded up and gotten Tevin Coleman and or Duke Johnson.

That was really missed opportunity right there.

Cobb could be OROY

Thus the reason why I don't understand why people say there wasn't anyone better than what we already had after the 3rd round. Ajayi, Langford, Cobb and the guy from USC was all there for the taking. Langford and Cobb is better than Randle in my opinion and would have been a compliment to MacFadden in the back field.

To be sure they got them, it'd have be at least a trade from 91 to 72. It'd cost the rest of our draft to do that, if there was a trade partner.

But yeah, if we hadn't had Gregory gifted to us, one of them may have been the pick in the late 2nd or early 3rd.

I believed he would have been a perfect fit for him here. He is faster than Murray and a bruiser that can break tackles and take it to the distance. Its missed opportunity right there. I envy the Titans for taking him. Instead we got Chaz Green who will be nothing more than a backup tackle for Dallas for many years.

Cobb fell all the way to the early 5th, so if we liked him (not sure they did) they could've had him with our late 4th.
Damian Wilson does look good though.
Yes, if Cobb becomes a star, we blew it.

Btw, David Cobbs 40 time was 4.81.
