I feel bad for the guy. Contract year, history of injuries, etc. He's going to have a tough time coming back from this one as speed is his game and he's lost some in year's past. This could be a career killer.

Tough break for him. I don't feel sorry for the Eagles or their fans, but I hate it for Maclin. This was a contract year for him.

I also hate to see maclin injured for the year. I watched him play his college at Missouri. I also do not feel sorry for the eagles and their fans anything to cause a division rival from winning is fine with me.

Never good to see a player get injured, regardless of the team that he plays for. If he's out for a significant amount of time then that's going to be a crushing blow to the eagles, because J.Maclin is their most consistent WR.

Yup. I've always been a fan of Maclin. He's their most consistent and most productive WR and isn't about all that flash like the inferior D Jag. The Eagles will miss him alot this year.. look for another mediocre season from Jackson with teams keying on him all game. Hope Chip has that running game tuned up and ready, cuz he's gonna need it.

Terrible news. Unfortunately there are usually a handful season ending injuries that occur across the league during the first weeks of training camp. It's really tough on a team when that injured player is one of your key starters.

So now Chip doesn't have 5 top recruits waiting in the wings. Oh what's he gonna do?

Welcome to the NFL Chip. I hope your revolutionary offense is as good as Spurriers was.

I do feel bad for Maclin. He's a model citizen and not a punk.

I don't feel bad for Iggles fans. I laugh at their pain.

Talk about a potpourri of setbacks:

2010: Deep bone bruise during TC
2011: Possible lymphoma, was found not to have cancer
2013: Torn ACL, potentially MCL damage
