Did anyone else see Maclin on the last deep pass? Halfway into his route he stopped looking for the ball and was looking out for Ken Hamlin coming from the safety position to make a play.

Appeared as if he was afraid of contact, and dare I say it - quit on his route?

Rue away, Zoners. ;)

PS - Theebs or Toad, either of you guys got video/gif/still shots of this?

He didn't really try to hard on that deep ball. It could have been alligator arms - let's show the tape to Roy Williams and get his opinion.

He never looked up for the ball nor made an attempt to catch it. He just kept staring at Hamlin. There was no alligator arms at all.

I hope that is more clear for you.

Even clearer - he WAS looking for the ball initially, but then about halfway into his route was looking for Hamlin the whole way.

Definitely worse than alligator arms. Kind of like alligator everything.

Dude didn't see the ball, was wondering why Hamlin was going to kill him for no reason.

I guess it depends on your interpretation of alligator arms. His arms didn't extend away from his body, just like an alligator's don't. He didn't literally put him arms out and then pull them back in. it was basically the equivalent of alligator arms and is functionally equivalent.

Maclin didn’t want anything to do with that pass. Eagles suck and so do their “explosive” receivers. Part II next week, then Part II of the Saints.

Hamlin played well today!

He did play well. Unfortunately zoners have been expecting an INT on every single pass by Ken Hamlin that they say he sucks.

I challenge that he's played like this the majority of the time.

Not to get too nitpicky, but if we beat the Eagles next week, our next opponent would be Minnesota because we will be the highest remaining seed.

Seriously there's no way a receiver doesn't even look for the ball when he knows its coming his way. I have no idea what was going on in his head.

I told everyone exactly what was going on in his head: he was scared, and was afraid he was going to get blown up by Hamlin, and with the scoreboard reading 24-0 with little to no success the whole game, he figured forget it.

It's not the first time he's done it. You think that drop over the middle was because it was that bad a throw? This guy is tiny, just like DeSean Jackson. He doesn't want to get blasted over the middle.
